I am a 33 year old man who has been fighting for nearly a year to be a part of his daughters life. Her mother says that I am a danger to my daughter as a result of my military service. I have been out for 7 years, and I have absolutely ZERO criminal record. I need someone in wisconsin who knows child custody law. I don't want to take her from her mother, I just want the chance to be the father she needs me to be. I am 100% disabled, and I have a really tough time making it on what I get for my pention, mostly because a majority of what I get either goes to child support, or payin for rides to go see my daughter every month or so. I lost my license in a traffic accident about 3 years ago and I can't afford the money that they want in order for me to get it back, I also cant afford the insurance I am required to have. I have been looking for someone who would do a cash advance on my pension, but that is not going anywhere, and with bad credit I can't afford a loan, does anyone know if there are grants or other programs that could help me out with this. At this point, I don't much care if I have to live in a cardboard box, I just want to make sure I can do everything in my power to be the father to my little girl. Please help me.........
